Dear Mother & Father

Had a pretty good day yesterday. In the afternoon we were taken in motor lorries to a cinema show & then on to “The Follies” both being run by the terror and regulars still quite good. Had a lot of rain during the night. Sorry to trouble you but should like ten bob or a quid as we don’t get paid regularly & in some civilized parts the money doesn’t last long. Will write again soon. Hope everybody is alright. Kind regards to Mr and Mrs Cornish.  Love to all at home.

Your Affectionate Son
Jack.
