22 Nov 1915 A letter to Jack from E Reginald Watts

c/o Mrs Spalding,
4 Victoria Road

Dear Jack
I daresay you will wonder who is writing to you. You may remember me or you may not. I used to reside at a certain house named ‘Lyndale” in Park Lane, so if you are not dead, please let me know & I will come and see you next Sunday afternoon. I think I saw you last about six years ago, and it is about eight I think since I moved away. Please give my kind regards to all at home, I trust all are well.  Hoping you are enjoying the best of health etc.,

I remain

Yours sincerely,
E Reginald Watts
[He clearly isn’t aware that Jack is on the front]
